We receive more than 50 story pitches weekly, so here are some pointers on crafting a pitch that’s more likely to capture our attention.

Pitch Must Be Topical

We only interview people about things that happened in the marketing industry in the past day.

We do not do general interest interviews like “how I grew my agency.”

Listen First

Pick any of our past episodes and listen to one. This will give you a much better sense of what we’re looking for.

Pitch the Right Person

We prefer to interview senior executives (e.g., VP and up) rather than a spokesperson, manager, or p.r. rep.
